The John Lennon Family Album – Nishi F. Saimaru

An intimate photographic portrait of John Lennon, Yoko Ono and their son Sean, photographed by Japanese photographer Nishi F. Saimaru during the family's private life in the late 1970s. Saimaru travelled with the Lennon family, including during their extended visits to Japan, photographing them away from the more familiar setting of Lennon's public and musical career.

The photographs span roughly 1977–1979, capturing everyday family life, holidays and travel during the final years of Lennon's life. The photographs were first published as a book in Japan in 1982, with this English-language edition following through Chronicle Books in 1990.
