Red Finel Pikku-Pehtoori Coffee Pot – Antti Nurmesniemi
Designed by Antti Nurmesniemi in 1957, the Pikku-Pehtoori is the smaller, one-litre version of Finland's iconic Pehtoori coffee pot. Manufactured by Wärtsilä-Finel, its enamelled steel construction, distinctive black handle and bright red finish make it a classic example of Finnish mid-century design.
The colour palette was developed by Nurmesniemi's wife, textile designer Vuokko Nurmesniemi. The Pikku-Pehtoori remained in production until the 1970s and became a familiar object in Finnish kitchens.
