Published in 1969, Skulptur i Finland is Göran Schildt’s survey of modern Finnish sculpture, documenting the development of the medium and a generation of artists who helped shape Finland’s post-war visual culture.
Illustrated throughout in colour and black and white, the book features work by significant Finnish artists and designers including Wäinö Aaltonen, Alvar Aalto, Tapio Wirkkala, Timo Sarpaneva, Kain Tapper, Laila Pullinen and Harry Kivijärvi. The Swedish-language edition was published by Wahlström & Widstrand, with Finnish and English editions also produced. Condition is good considering the age.
